Salimah Ismail is the operations manager at Safe & Reliable Healthcare as well as the producer and host for the S&R Podcast. She works with internal teams and client partners to help coordinate and organize key activities related to their high reliability transformations. Salimah applies her diverse skill set to serve as a key point of contact for project management, communication, and the resolution of administrative hurdles to enable progress.

Salimah received a Masters in Statistics from the University of Victoria where she published a paper that modeled the spectral analysis of resting state brain activity. After that, she earned a Masters in Science in Television production from Boston University, while interning for the award-winning talk show The Soup on E! in Los Angeles.

After leaving Hollywood, Salimah quickly rose through the ranks at Megson FitzPatrick Insurance, an independent broker in Victoria BC. She worked with C-level executives to develop and implement their new mission, vision and values, update their brand and optimize their internal operations. She led a similar transformation a few years later at the Immune Deficiency Foundation when she overhauled and rebuilt their complex database. During this time, Salimah also provided Monitoring & Evaluation services to non-profit post-secondary and parental empowerment programs to ensure that they adhere to their initial goals and achieve their desired outcomes. Salimah has been involved with the Aga Khan Development Network for 20 years, appreciating its’ commitment to providing sustainable solutions to communities within Africa and Asia that incorporates cultural sensitivities along with community engagement and leadership training.
