Paul has over 35 years of healthcare experience in the areas of delivery, administration, executive leadership, care coordination, quality improvement, risk management and consulting. He is a nationally recognized expert in high reliability, licensure and accreditation issues, clinical quality improvement, patient safety, and executive leadership development for the support of transformational change. Most recently, as Vice President for Quality and Safety at Premier Performance Partners, Mr. Green served as national practice lead for advisory services for High Reliability and Complex Clinical Quality Transformation solutions along with Regulatory and Accreditation solutions. Mr. Green has designed and led quality, patient safety and risk management strategies for integrated systems in multiple communities for over 20 years. In addition, Mr. Green has served as an Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Paul has led successful large-scale organizational improvement transformations at multiple facilities; from single hospital sites to multi-hospital systems including an assessment /design solution model for a large multistate system clinical transformation efforts. Significant achievements include awards for Clinical Effectiveness improvement in a 4 hospital integrated system, clinical and operational turn arounds; successful management and mitigation of serious regulatory emergencies in small and large scale hospital systems including behavioral health facilities; implementation and management of a corporate integrity agreement for a 6 hospital system.

Mr. Green is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, with undergraduate degrees in Biology and Nursing. He holds a master’s degree in Child Health Nursing and Nursing Education. He has achieved advanced levels of professional recognition as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and has held licensure as Healthcare Risk Manager.
