Alnoor is the Chief Operating Officer for Safe and Reliable Healthcare. He is responsible for the day to day operations of the company and ensuring that all the systems, resources, and people are in place to achieve the goals of the company. He brings 19 years of experience to this role with significant expertise in complex program management and has a consistent record of positioning organizations for success, building highly accomplished teams that demonstrate a profound dedication to operational excellence and to client satisfaction.

His healthcare career started in 1997, in some of the most challenging hospitals and clinics in major metropolitan cities in Asia. It was here that Alnoor learned firsthand of the myriad of challenges facing healthcare organizations and their beneficiaries and how those challenges were similar in many ways to those facing healthcare systems in North America – the need for better outcomes at a lower cost without compromising quality and patient safety.

Building on these formative experiences, under the mentorship of Paul Batalden and Elliott Fisher, Alnoor pursued his graduate education in the Evaluative Clinical Sciences at Dartmouth Medical School. He acquired the tools and skills required to organize, improve, and measure healthcare across the care continuum in a wide variety of contexts. Alnoor’s training and years of related fieldwork created a deep interest and expertise in systems thinking, high reliability, measurement, leadership development and outcomes.

Over the last two decades, Alnoor has founded and built high-impact healthcare consultancies working closely with Boards and Executives from leading health systems to support profitable growth, operational efficiency, high reliability and clinician-led improvement. Typically retained by CEOs for efforts requiring clinician engagement, Alnoor’s project teams built a broad project repertoire, from leading major software installations – including EMRs, focused on workflow and efficiency optimization; to department turnarounds for academic Hospital Medicine groups, major eye centers, and ICUs; to acquisition and affiliation strategy for growing systems. Alnoor’s unique ability to partner with clinicians and apply a Value-Based Management methodology has enabled him to build credibility by distinguishing myth from fact amongst his client stakeholders.

Alnoor received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario, Master of Science degree from Dartmouth and a MBA from Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, he earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation to help him organize client work in complex organizations.
